The keyboard kit is a low power CMOS design with it's own CMOS 6803 microprocessor. This keyboard could run off it's own battery so it was completely self contained. The keyboard can also use an Infra Red link so no cable to the computer was required. It was one of the first wireless keyboards available, the design even predated the IBM PC Jr. Another one of the innovations the Gemin robot design team came up with.
